Before you buy
Will this actually lower my ping?
Sometimes, by a few milliseconds. More often it lowers your jitter, which is the thing that feels like rubber-banding. About one run in five sees no measurable change at all. Nyx measures before and after and tells you which case you are in — run the free tier first and find out before you pay.
Is this safe? Can it break Windows?
Every change is recorded before it is made, and the Restore button puts all of it back — including deleting values that did not exist before, rather than writing a zero. The riskiest thing in the catalog (a Winsock catalog reset) is in the experimental tier with a warning that says plainly it may require reinstalling your VPN.
Will I get banned?
Nyx does not touch any game process memory, inject anything, or modify game files. It changes Windows network and scheduler settings, which is the same thing a manufacturer utility or a guide on a forum tells you to do by hand. That said, no anti-cheat vendor publishes a whitelist, so nobody can promise you anything about any software — and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
How many PCs?
Two on any paid plan, one on free. Swapping an SSD or a network card does not cost you a seat — the fingerprint tolerates one changed component. You can release both machines yourself from the dashboard or with /hwid reset in Discord.
What happens if I cancel?
It keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then drops to the free tier. Your applied tweaks stay applied; nothing is forcibly reverted and your snapshots are untouched.
Refunds?
Within 14 days, no argument, for any reason. Try the free tier first though — if the free tier does nothing on your connection, the paid one probably will not either, and we would rather you kept your money.
